The Chosen: Season 5 Makes Its Digital Debut
Global Viewership begins July 13th
After a successful three-week theatrical run in the U.S. and Canada last March, The Chosen nearly reached $60 million at the box office, adding to the massive revenue it generated, which exceeded $140 million across 55 countries over the past three years. Season 5 will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. on June 15, 2025, with international streaming starting July 13, 2025. This season will be released in three parts: two episodes on July 13, three on July 20, and three on July 27. Seasons 1-4 are now streaming on Prime Video.
The Chosen: Last Supper (Season 5) follows Jesus, played by Jonathan Roumie, in the critical final days of his life. After entering Jerusalem as a King, he confronts corrupt merchants, leading to unrest. As religious leaders try to silence him, Jesus shares a final meal with his disciples, while Judas makes a fateful deal that changes everything. This powerful story of faith and betrayal highlights one man’s sacrifice.
In anticipation of Season 5, hosts Hollie Taylor and James Kurtis interviewed Dallas Jenkins, director of The Chosen, and Noah James, who plays Andrew. Jenkins shared insights about the upcoming season, while James discussed his filming experiences and teased future ideas beyond the final season, including details about ‘The Chosen: In the Wild with Bear Grylls.’
